Course Outline
This is an in-depth workshop that will enhance any manual therapists’ success. Participants will learn effective techniques for treating concussions, head trauma, whiplashes, migraines, dizziness, nausea, balance issues, tinnitus, falls and impacts, temporo-mandibular joint problems, sequellae of MVAs, and more.
The course includes a detailed illustrated manual, an excellent reference toolbox for techniques and related anatomy
Over the 36 hours of teaching we will:
- Present an overview of the anatomy and physiology of the dural system and cranium and examine their structure and function.
- Discuss theories of the heart and gut brains, the electromagnetic field (torus) around us, and their importance in healing.
- Learn about the theories of consciousness and cellular memory.
- Have an in-depth discussion of trauma and injury and their difference.
You will learn techniques for:
- Measuring the cranium and other landmarks.
- A system of compression/decompression for the dural and nervous system to calm the systems and restore homeostasis
- Releasing the cranial sutures.
- Palpating the cranial rhythm throughout the body
- Release of the muscles of the face, the throat, the neck.
- A nine-step procedure designed to open the cranial venous system and restore vitality.
This is a four-day ‘hands on’ intensive taught in a retreat setting. Due to the nature of the subject material and in order to provide adequate individual attention, the class size is limited to twelve. It is designed with professional health care workers in mind yet it can also accommodate those with an intense desire to learn.

INJURY and TRAUMA
In-depth discussion of trauma focusing on the cranium, dural system and the central nervous system, the involvement of the hypothalamus – the four stages of fight/flight/freeze – and how, when
unresolved, the injury /trauma is stored in the body and remains current.
